Hello Everyone,
It’s time for our annual sale again! Despite a challenging economy and ongoing supply chain issues, we’ve made it to our 29th Annual Sale—and we couldn’t have done it without you.
A Little News From Me
This year I completed my herbalism course and received my certificate, thank goodness! What a journey it has been for the past year! I have improved my health even further through herbalism as my confidence has grown, and my gut has healed.
So, will there be more aromatherapy classes? Yes, indeed! First, though, I have a lot of my teaching materials to revise. I’ve grown, and I no longer feel comfortable teaching from my old notes. Ah well, that’s the consequence of growth!
The Annual Oil Hunt
This year’s oil hunt was a little disheartening. Some of my supply chains broke down, and although I managed to keep many prices under control, a few price jumps were startling.
So, it is with much regret that I have to remove three products from our shelves, as they are either unavailable or no longer affordable to sell:
Frankincense CO₂ is no longer available, as my regular source has been unreachable.
Aloe Vera Gel is no longer available, as my regular source is out of stock.
Sandalwood is no longer available, as the price has risen far beyond what is reasonable.
We’ll be reserving our existing stock for our house blends so that as many of you as possible can still get the oils you need. I hope you can understand…
New This Season
On to some more upbeat news for 2026!
Towards the end of the year, my older son is getting married (I couldn’t be more thrilled)! I wanted to protect our guests from the seasonal rains and flu we’re typically troubled with, especially as the year draws to a close. And so, I came up with something new (I tend to get creative on demand, haha!).
Both products below are child-friendly, and their names were inspired by the beautiful and creative Lisa. I think they’re so cute, and I love them!
We’re introducing these as trial items this sale season, and if they perform well and you like them, we can add them to our permanent product list.
NEW: “Bite Me Not” Insect Repellent
Body/Room Spray | 100ml for $26.90
I recently discovered a water-based and fully plant-based medium that works as a room spray. It also blends beautifully with essential oils. I created this blend for my son’s garden wedding, wanting both a lovely scent for the guests and effective protection against mosquitoes.
It combines organic Peppermint, Geranium, and Lemongrass. Together, they give such a beautifully sweet, fresh, and lemony fragrance. I have to say, I fell in love with it.
This blend is suitable for ages 3 and above. For longer-lasting protection, spray it on clothing or other fabrics around you.
NEW: “Sneeze Me Not” Anti-Allergy Guard
Body/Room Spray | 100ml for $26.90

The flu and bug season is also upon us. Many of you will be travelling overseas during the holidays, and our children’s health is often our biggest worry when we’re away from home.
This is my adaptation of an anti-allergy blend taught by my mentor, Kurt Schnaubelt, PhD. It combines Tanacetum (Blue Tansy), Niaouli, and Peppermint, plus I added Lemon, which makes it wonderfully sweet and fresh. I’m sure your children will love it.
Please spray it on their clothing, not on the face. Suitable for ages 3 and above, and it can be used as often as needed.
My Bergamot City Odyssey
View of Reggio Calabria by Mimmo Zema
It’s story time! A couple of years ago, in 2024, I wrote about how we found a wonderful new source for our citrus essential oils in Italy. Well, this year—with my Mum in tow—we travelled to Italy for a spiritual pilgrimage we’d always wanted to experience. And, at the end of our trip, we got to visit the very farm where I buy our citrus oils!
We landed in Reggio Calabria, right at the “toe” of Italy, and found the most amazing city, with citrus growing everywhere. The land was once covered in gorgeous bergamot plants, but over the last 300 years, urbanisation has meant many were removed to pave the roads, build houses, and establish the town centre.
The National Bergamot Museum, Reggio Calabria
We found our way to the Bergamot Museum, where they take bergamot very seriously. It celebrates the fruit’s history, with shelves full of products developed by many craft masters, whose samples were sent in to add to the display collection.

Posters and plaques inside the National Bergamot Museum, Reggio Calabria. The plaque reads: “The Bergamot Museum in Reggio Calabria is an exhibition of instruments that recount more than 300 years of culture, history, and traditions surrounding the precious citrus fruit and its uses.”
It details all the experiences that the museum offers, including tastings and cooking classes!

Traditional uses of bergamot in jams, candy, and other food products.
You can also find newer uses for Bergamot in health supplements…

The whole city is about Bergamot, we even found a shop that sells everything Bergamot! The sign above talks about the “GREEN GOLD of Calabria in all its SPECIALTIES!”
All the Bergamot products inside…
Would you believe it, Bergamot Gelato too? Of course I had to try it! It’s like a limey, lemony, sorbet-like Gelato.
The Bergamot Farm and Orchards at OleOlio
We visited the beautiful Bergamot farm, but unfortunately, we were one week too early for the Bergamot harvest and distillation 😞
Bergamot trees at the OleOlio farm in Reggio Calabria.
There are 3 species of bergamot: one is for oils, another is for perfume, and the third variety is for juices and food.
Though we just missed out on the harvest, we did have a taste of the ripe Bergamot juice. (You can only make oils from the unripe Bergamot). It’s lemony or lime-like, with a salty aftertaste. Mom didn’t appreciate the sour taste, but I loved it 😋!

Traditional Bergamot Oil Cold Expression / Extraction
Modern extraction facilities at the farm, reducing the labour of squeezing the cold Bergamot rinds by hand to extract the oils.
Rest assured that our citrus essential oils come from a family that has been running their farm for over 300 years. They still do it with so much love and passion, and we are honoured to carry and use their precious product.
That’s all the news for this year! I hope you enjoy the collection, and please let me know what you think of the two new room sprays.
Enjoy your shopping, and thank you once again for your loyal support and affection!
Love and hugs to you all ❤️,
Veron
